off to a well deserved trip finally after sooooo long. I am really excited abt it

and i have already plan a veryyyy lonnnnnggg schedule for me and bf!! YEAH!!!!

Birthday Celebration!!

This is gonna be a long blog in the first place because i decided to

write everything in one go instead of separately. So here it goes.

10th June 2008: Celebration of the June Babies!

The usual bunch with one new comer: Thomas! Welcome Welcome!!

We went to Shokudo @ Raffles City. I was so excited as i have never

been there before. Food was pretty nice too. I like the Sashimi

Later in the evening we went off to a cafe in Esplanade and had fun

taking photos. Thomas had a big ass SLR with him and we took very

nice photos. Quote from Juan:" All we need is a good SLR, we wont

need Al**te!!" Haha. If you guys get what i mean you will get the joke..

15th June 2008: Daddy's & Daughter's Day

It so happens that Father's day is my bday too! So me and my Daddy

celebrated the special together. Its been a long time since i celebrated my

bday with my family. Only now we have an additional member in our family:

Sammy. Welcome Welcome!!

So in the morning we went to Shangri-la Singapore to have lunch at Shang

Palace. Very oriental restaurant but expensive too. You gotta pay for the

ambience dear..

In the afternoon we went over to our Grandma's house in Tampines.

Though it was a long journey but everyone was more than happy. Then

something happen that really make me remember this year's bday for life.

My Grandma presented me with a pure gold ring. She had a pair and gave

one to me. I was so touched i nearly cried. Somehow i had mixed feelings.

Part of me feel honoured, part of me sad, part of me denial. I dun know but

somehow it caused a heavy feeling in my heart. I think its guilt. My Grandma

used to dote on me the most when i was younger and being a child in a big family

it was very impt. But when we both got older, the times i visited her became lesser.

It was always abt being busy. But i guess its just an excuse. It makes me really

scared and frightened at the same time. Presenting me with a family heirdoom is

not a funny thing. It meant responsibility and somehow when old people do

these sort of things i doesnt feel nice. I think you get the drift. Haiz. Enough of

these emo shit.

So at night we went to the fishing village at Sim Ming where my uncle has a

store there selling bbq food like clams and stingray. So if you drop by there

say my name I'm sure he will give you a discount! The few of us downed 3

huge crabs and other stuff. We went home tired but happy and satisfied.

16th June 2008: JB Cum Celebration

I have been to JB for like a hundred times, but never once i went in to

just shop and eat. I used to just pump petrol then go out. I have always wanted to go in to shop like average Singaporeans. So its a wish come true when Gerald organized the trip. He is a good tour guide as he knows what to do and where to go and most importantly how to go abt doing it. So he is a good planner and generally a good travel partner. Hee.

I still cant believe he carried that 'bigger-than-Thomas' big ass SLR' all the way pass the custom and into malaysia, when i nearly died just by walking and the heat.

Early in the morning, ok maybe afternoon we went off to the checkpoint to begin our journey.

18th June 2008: Huan Yun's Treat.

Long time friend Huan Yun, being a very nice guy decided to gimme a treat for my bday. Haha. So he brought me to Yan Ge Lou @ Chinatown to eat Dim Sum then for our KTV. No pics, because none of us brought camera. Still it was a fun event for two old friends to meet up. Hee.

Daniel's 24th @ Conrad Centennial

Ok This is gonna be a quick one. I am supposed to meet Huan Yun

at 1pm. I think i will be late again. Anyway, ok Daniel's Bday. It was

held at Conrad Centennial Singapore. It's a very nice hotel with

extremely big and comfy toilet. Haha you might think toilet is not

impt be i think it determines the overall comfort level of your stay

in the hotel. People were very sporting and it was generally a fun

event even when i didnt know half of the people before.

Free Gadgets Day

I cant wait to write this down. One mth ago M1 sent me a $100 voucher,

so i decided to make a trip to M1 since bf says he will pay whatever balance.

I the end i was pretty disappointed as there wasnt a phone i like. So out of

all the rest, i decided to get a samsung SGH F700. In the end i was so pissed off

with the lady because she told me i cant trade in my old phone because of that

hideous crack on the screen (If you know what i am talking abt). So i decided

not to pay a single cent to M1 and so i use the voucher to get a 'free' phone.

Well, i was pretty happy with the new phone because it was slicker and prettier

than the samsung one. I still havent regret my 'buy' yet.

Later on in the night i think bf very happy because he didnt need to fork out a

single cent earlier so he decided to watch a movie : Kung Fu Panda. Normally we

wont watch during weekends but i think he good mood. Anyway having a little

time before our movie, we went to the arcade and played a machine called " lighthouse".

Basically you are supposed to have three tries and in the end the numbers must

add up to six. So in went our first $1 coin and Wala!! WE WON......

when i won it!!

Anyway that was last Sun. Today i went back to the same arcade again

wanting to win that DS Lite too. And Wala! I saw a Lavender Purple PSP!! OH MY GOD !!

Anyway bf told me there is a Rose Pink one in Westmall..I WANT!! Its not

the poisonous pink Kelvin has, its a softer shade. So nice. I think this time

round Sony came out with alot nicer colors, there is the blue one also.. OMG!!

Outing With New NUS Friends!

Well, if you guys have been reading or have been hearing me complain, i thought

i would never have friends in NUS. I meant like go-out kinda friends, talk rot on

MSN kinda friends. I have 'friends' in NUS but mostly for proj and stuff but never

the kind whereby you will pour your heart out to.

Well, as alot of you know, i took up a kinda lame module last sem: Chinese Tradition

So old time buddy: Seah Huiling was psycho-ed into taking it with me. I think she in turn

went to psycho her old time buddy: Gerald to take with us. Thats how i got to know him

Anyway he is such a cute person. So on the day we took our results we decided to hang

out together on that following mon, together with one of their friend: Kenneth whom

i have only met once before. So there it is, we ended up having some kinda

Dim Sum at same kinda store instead of Yum Cha, and the promised KTV session,

went to some place that sells fish like Fish & Co. @ Central and lastly to IndoChine at

Clarke Quay to have wine. So nice to be hanging out with a different mix rather than the

old gang you see. But i still love all of your, dun worry!
